Can I just remind you that BurtonJ is not the pirate here, so don't make Brick's mistake and read the first three lines and immediately think he is.​

Soon after, some kind of scammer decided to come in, advertise his fake "Free Steam games" website -- and of course, BurtonJ was there. Owned.

Can somebody ask him to unban me? I got my priveleges taken away because I was impersonating Mike Booth on the left4dead411 chat for an April Fools joke. Guy takes his job a little too seriousy IMO.

I would have been more than happy to cut you some slack. But when you start trash talking me in chat, in IM, and on multiple forums, you give me very little reason to go easy on you.

Don't violate the Terms of Service and don't be rude and disrespectful.

Normally, violating the Terms of Service results in your whole account being permanently disable. So I think you got off pretty easy buddy.

So you're going to ban my account that I had since Steam started, with hundreds worth of video games on it all because of a April Fools joke? I have been playing with Valve ever since 2001 too with WON. I don't have a monitor right now (RMA'd) but I can get on Steam on Sunday.

If you were being a douche and impersonating a Valve employee you deserved worse. Be happy your account wasn't disabled period for impersonating, they do that quite a bit because people think its "funny" to go around and spread retard crap. :rolleyes:

BurtonJ nearly banned AcePilotF14 yesterday for offering someone free Steam games.

I told him to change it and explained that he should NEVER give his password to anyone.
Even if they say 'free games'.
