they wouldn't? most people do that from the start... they say "these are the reasons we are going to war and it's entirely my decision to do so" then again most peoples reasons don't change everytime they give a speech... so yeah I guess you are right most bold faced liars wouldn't tell the truth.

It's commendable but it only took him nearly THREE YEARS to admit it! One must also wonder if it's truly sincere or if it's just another empty statement meant to try and boost his poll numbers. I get the overwhelming feeling that they knew the intelligence wasn't that strong in the first place. All they needed was an excuse and a cover story (Operation Iraqi Freedom). :hmph:
