Somebody needs to make Madagascar a wildlife sanctuary, the entirety of it. So many completely unique species are losing their homes, and will die off as expansion continues. I mean... Is human expansion that much more valuable than the preservation of a distinctly different evolution of animals that were seperated from the mainland of africa millions of years ago?

Perhaps you like to be dependent on Arab oil, I don't. There's nothing wrong with this. Methods used for oil exploration and pumping take utmost efforts to minimalize disturbance to wildlife.
