Bush is loosing his mind, litterally

I dunno, it seemed slightly more human with the pauses. It was obvious, though, that he was reading off an auto-cue, so quite why he found it so difficult I'm not sure... Odd.
And what on Earth was the air conditioning comment about!?

I think he's been taken over by aliens and they're having problems with their communication and mind control relay on their spaceship.

I do think he is losing his mind but we can all rest easy in the fact that this is his last term, or so current American law states...

well if u've seen the footage of him debating 10-20 years ago you can REALLY tell a difference. Something is going on, whether it's mental illness or not.

That footage had a big black screen covering most of his face.

they said that ex-russian president Yesin was wirelessly controled my other people, he was a machine

Meh, he's just a finger puppet anyway. A bad one at that.

meh, Reagan was crazy as a loon for the last half of his second term and he was one of the most popular presidents in recent memory ..surely bush could hold on to sanity for a few more years ...besides bush is known for his linguistic gymnastics:

"It's in our country's interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way. " Bush Apr. 28, 2005

Sincerity....overload.....ARG1!1!

.....

Reboot....

I think the teleprompter was moving too slow and the people who made the video were to lazy to speed it up and remake the tape.

Tinfoil hats indeed.

sounds like a poor excuse

by the way, tinfoil hat thing is a joke

mentally incompetent...if that is the case, maybe all this nonsense really isn't his fault exactly..hes just insane and doesn't know any better

the scary thing? if martial law is ever declared whoever is president at the time STAYS president until the "crisis" is over!!

the good powers(god, allah, whoever) that be, protect us all from that happening

To me it just looks like he's an uncomfortable speaker, which is something everyone has known for quite some time now. Besides a few awkward pauses and the um's and uh's it was fine. We don't have any idea what was going on there anyways. The teleprompter may have been moving to slow, or it may have been a bad take. Maybe there was no teleprompter. Who knows? More importantly, who cares?

I doubt there's a teleprompter, and as quckbeam said, who cares?

Shadow, every time Bush has had to speak in front of an audience as President, or take part in some sort of debate, he's been visibly nervous. Perhaps he seemed to perform better as governor because that role brings much less stress with it than that of the President? I could see that. The President has a worldwide audience after all. Anyways, he didn't do anything in that video that would suggest something was wrong with him besides a small case of the jitters. A few awkward pauses, a few hard gulps, and a few too many um's and uh's during a speech do not mean someone has a mental illness or is an incompetent fool. All of those things are common pitfalls for a person with a fear of public speaking. Now, please tell me how this little leaked video which has been provided to us with absolutely no background should be concerning to anyone? There is no correlation between a mans ability to speak and his intelligence or ability to govern that I know of.

... The sad part is Bush's apparent lack of intelligence has been proven over and over, yet some people still voted for him. I don't know who the bigger moron is.

Wow, what a constructive post.

Public speaking or reading a teleprompter isn't indicative of someone's reasoning. This looks exactly like a slow teleprompter.

Oh man that was so cool how you did that, wow, your my hero. You are so awesome, I wish I were half as cool as you foxtrot.
You are just the coolest member around here! You are so rad.
You make it so apperent how great you are, with that post alone.

Or maybe you try a little to hard. :dozey:

On topic:

The likely scenario is, Bush's years of (ADMITTED) alcohol and drug abuse are finally catching up with him.

Obviously you missed the whole point to my post, and you made yourself look like a complete moron.

Absolutely right, but i've always felt awkward watching Bush talk. It looks like he doesn't believe what he's saying. Either he's extremely nervous or he's literally told word for word "Ok George just stand up there and read this, no stuff ups this time please!". He looks like an innocent little kid up there, total puppetry. On the other hand Rumsfield, Rice, Powell and Cheney all look like they actually have a clue of what's happening.

"We must destroy all nucularrrrrr facilities in the world"

*speech writer* "DAMNIT! I shouldn't have used that big word George always has trouble with that word :("

So which part of that post did I miss, the "YO" or the "U" part...
Forgive, I didn't realize that post was soooo deep, you are a modern day shakespear.

Where exactly did you find that proof? I found this line graph that clearly shows you are more of a moron than Bush is.

nor do they care about Blair or anyother leader infact

They care about de Gaulle. Even named a (broken) airport after him.

I don't think most of the French really care much about Bush.

They do, a lot in fact. I can pickup any newspaper on any day and the headline will be "l'amerique de bush" "bush this" "bush that"... and it's even worst on TV. They're obsessed I tell you.

And yes the airport had a roof collapse in one of the terminals last year but it's fixed now.

Its getting OT in here.. plus I've seen a few personal insults scattered around, so it will be closed.
