Well, suprise, suprise, Bush didn't read any dissenting views on WMD intelligence nor did his national security advisor:

But a senior administration official acknowledged in July 2003 that Bush and then-national security adviser Condoleezza Rice "did not read footnotes" in the 90-page document.

what also upsets me is nor did Kerry and I would guess most other senators, Democratic or Republican:

The contents of that estimate became a political issue during last year's presidential campaign when Democratic candidate John Kerry challenged Bush to say whether he read the complete intelligence report before deciding to go to war, or whether he just read a one-page summary that gave him none of the dissenting views.

Kerry aides said the senator did not read the document himself before voting to give Bush the authority to go to war.

The fact that these people wouldn't read a few footnotes or 90 lousy pages before making such an important decision that could lead to hundreds of thousands of lives lost is an outrage. What say you?

What does that have to do with anything? Even if this war turned out to be the best thing since sliced bread, and covered the planet in pink fluffy ducks and made you have a bigger penis, it's still worrying that they make a decision which has thousands of lives on the balance and don't even read the paperwork.
