Buying a monitor to run a PS3

Hi, I have decided to buy a PS3 and I want to run it on a monitor I am also thinking of buying. My question is this. Is this monitor good enough to run a PS3 well and watch blu-ray movies off?

Your going for a pc-monitor for the ps3? If so, then you should get a monitor with 1920*1080 resolution, so theres no scaling.

Yeah I am looking for a pc-monitor. When you say scaling, does that mean the picture will look stretched?

I have the version with a TV Tuner card in it, and its pretty awesome. I havent gotten a PS3 yet though, but from reviews and such everyone says it works great.

Get something with a 16:9 ratio, not a 16:10 ratio. I believe the PS3 only outputs 16:9. The only one new egg seems to have is:

But if you are going to dump $600 on a monitor why not just buy a 32" LCD tv for around the same price? The resolution will be slightly smaller but the advantage is that it's an actual TV.

I don't want a new tv as they will at least $1500 for what I would want from it so getting a smaller monitor is good enough for me.
Had a look at the sites and seeing as I don't want to have to buy from the US I've come up with this.
