Call of Duty has Great SP, MP is pretty good too, but it is no BF1942
Mafia is also good

mafia is an unforgettable SP experience. and its probably not too expensive either since its been out for a while. it has a lot of playability even after you beat it because of the different modes.

I would get call of duty, but since its $45 and the SP is short and I can't play MP, I am going to pass on this till price drops.

Ive only played the demo of mafia, but I liked what I saw.

Did you know, your car acctually runs out of feul! and you have to goto a fuel station to fill it up! , quality stuff.

Knights of the old Republic, THE best Star Wars video game (infact if you include Tie Fighter there are only 2 good star wars games :/ - but KOTOR definatley kicks ass )

Don't get Call of Duty if you only play SP. I agree w/ Warbie that KotOR kicks arse. You'll prob even like it when you're not into Star Wars. It can be pretty buggy though if you have an Ati videocard.

Mafia is a very good game atmosphere wise. There are a couple of tricky missions (the racing is notorious), but you can always get a trainer if you get stuck. The whole look and feel of Mafia is simply brillant.

if you get the mafia patch, i think theres only one for most countries, then it makes racing easier, well it actually asks you what difficulty you want before you start the race.

I play golf in real life too, and I would really like to try the new Tiger Woods game.
I bought Grim Fandango last night!! WAAAAAAARGH!!!! It's just the adventure game I've been looking for! And it was CHEAP i tell ya!
