Buying a new gfx card. Help me out

I'm gonna buy a new graphics card.
I got a budget of up to 200$.

I heared 9600 pro is good and cheap, but won't the radeon 9800 non-pro work better?

if you can find a 9800np for a 9700pro, get it.

I doubt a 9800np goes for under $200. But yes it is better... But it comes down to money. If you want to spend an extra maybe $50 on a 9800 over a 9600, go for it. If not, go for the 9600 Pro, its a good card.

Yeah. You can get one for $249.00 at newegg.com for instance (hehe, I was spot on ). For another little buck, $306.00, you can get a 9800 Pro.

i would say get the 9800np, espeacailly after seeing the preview benchmarks for HL2. From there you can flash the video card bios and end up with a 9800 pro.
