Buying a new monitor

Samsung makes better quality LCDs in general from what I have seen. It also uses a DVI connection instead of VGA so the picture will be more clear (requires DVI on your PC). The Acer will be a little brighter so it will be a little easier to see if it's in a bright room. Just from what I could tell from the specs.

I havn't read up on user feedback or anything on those monitors though. No clue how they compare with response time. You can't go by the number. One screen may be slow changing colors while another might be quicker changing colors even if they have the same response time rating.
