Buying monitor for XBOX 360

I am going to buy a new monitor for XBOX 360, for now i have a 17" CRT PC monitor and a 14" TV. But as you can see they are shit. I am looking to spend around 300$.

But i dont know what i should buy, an PC LCD monitor, around 17-19" or a 28" TV ( none widescreen )

Which of these brings the best gaming experience, quality ?

And is it confirmed that i can use a LCD monitor for 360 ?

Also consider that i care more about quality and sharpness than size of screen =)

A HDTV I believe will be as sharp as a monitor(as it works very similar).
Go for a LCD of HDTV in your case.

A HDTV in Sweden for 300$ is pretty much impossible.
If I were you I'd buy a 28" TV tbh.
But can't you borrow money from your parents or something?
I'm paying an advance of 3000 kr to mine, so they'll put in 8000 extra, which I'll then pay off as the years go.

Im thinking of buying a Thomson 28" Stereo-TV 28DP182 with Black Pearl screen, guess its Flat Screen

It has inputs for headphones so i guess i can connect my PC speakers to it

19 inch LCD would be grand for that. High Resoultion with a Decent size and it hardly takes up space! Not to mention it looks nice

If i would have bought a 19 inch LCD monitor i would have to switch it between xbox and pc

Can you use a regular monitor with the VGA cable? My monitor has an attached VGA cable, so I can`t see how I would use the 360 cable unless I get some sort of adapter.

you just need the $40 adapter accessory for xbox360, which will go from the end of your VGA cable(male) to the adapter, to the xbox360.
