Right, so I'm studying abroad for 4 months at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Nice ofcourse, but my internet-connectivity (provided by the University) is very restricted. Worst of all I'm not able to connect to the Steam network. Not that I really mind, there's enough to do around here, but its always nice to play a game once in a while. At the moment I'm mostly in LAN playing against some fellow students & bots. Quite nice.
But... looking at these steam updates, it would be really nice to get connected. I don't care about the speed/stability, I just want to get those updates. Is there a way to bypass the proxy or should I wait for +- 4 months ?
