I was in bestbuy and saw this game, Command & Conquer: The First Decade. At first i thought, 'oh no, not another C&C game' but then i realized it was a game pack.

Now i have never played C&C before (any of them) but my roommate loved them. So i open it up and see it has:
C&C
The Covert Operations
Tiberian Sun
Firestorm
Red Alert
Red Alert: The Aftermath
Red Alert: Counterstrike
Red Alert 2
Red Alert: Yuri's Revenge
Generals
Generals: Zero Hour
Renegade

and i said, well wtf for 35$ i can't go wrong. So i bought it. And soon i will start playing. I'll start with C&C and play through them all over the...hours/days/weeks? Hopefully it'll be good.

It's 10gb so this should take a little bit of time to install.

You've never played a C&C game? Oh god, you are in for a treat. I wish I could have my memory erased, just so I could experience everything from C&C to Red Alert 2 fresh.

Man qft so badly

Yeah, great games. Make sure you try Renegades multiplayer, it's a lot better than people give it credit for (singleplayer isn't too great though).

Indeed. Man, the times I've killed people while riding a Chinook helicopter right into the enemy base :p

i bought it, its very good. i actually kind of got into zero hour for awhile to, but red alert 1 alone is worth the price.

I play Red Alert 2 every day on my LAN with people... It's an awesome game! :D

Yeah, and it's always fun to watch Westwood trademark dodgy FMV ;D

For the love god, skip generals.

I'm really regretting putting twenty dollars into it+ZH.

I've only ever played Red Alert. I loved modding that game by adding in units and changing their strength. First time I learned about modding and how flexible PC games are.

Beat me to it. Yeah, just throw it in the bin.

The older games still have problems running on xp. EVEN with this pack. They said they fixed most of the problems but i cant go 1 hour without a crash on CAC.

which c& c is the latest? zero hour? which is played the most?

Cool pack, but some of the older games are a bit buggy. And uhh, scanlines FTW :p

Must remember to get it back off the guy I lent it to though...

I got it and started to play through C&C again.. but it crashes on a certain mission and I can't get past D: I kinda lost interest.. tho I guess I can just not play the C&C NOD campaign :(
Are you on a laptop? I had a laptop, and had the same problem. I just bought a new computer (desktop) and the game seems to work fine.

Red Alert was/is truly one of the greatest games ever made. When it came out, I spent the whole day playing it, every day, for over a week :O

Can't get it working on XP though - RA2 runs just fine :hmph:

Got this myself the other day...yes yes i know cncnation owner not owning all the C&C games D:

Got em all know and yay :D

Great stuff, good value. Shame EA didn't do more work on em but ah well. They're great anyhow

The First Decade, probably one of the best buys I've ever done. :)
I didn't do it on Best Buy though. (Pun intended)
