Here's a little artwork I did on my TI-83+ calculator. I was bored in study hall so I decided to make a CS "screenshot"... it took approximately 3 periods (~3 hrs) to create and perfect. I took a couple real screenshots as reference for the models/muzzle flash, but most of it I just did off the top of my head. I tried to make it as accurate as possible.
(I attached both the direct scan and the version I converted on computer)

Comments? :E

Have any of you made any artwork on your graphing calculators?

Yeah man! I draw pictures all the time on my calculator :). I also write games/programs. The latest program I wrote is a mini 3D engine. It's pretty much as close to one as you'll get on a caculator at least. I'll hook 'er up later and upload some pics. I didn't know anyone else did this...hehe. Looks great! Later.

Heh I used my bro's TI-86 when I was in highschool. I would just sit back and play frogger or nibbles, while it looks like your actually working.

I had a couple of Ozzy pics on it too, plus I dloaded a pam anderson animation that took up all the memory on it.

wait, you can put porn on these?! And ive been playing games all this time...

Wtf man, my TI83 needs some stuff. Hook me up, lol. Some of my friends have mario and stuff.

OH NO. I just was going to get my calc out but I think I left it at school! I hope no one took it... i'll be back later, hopefully with stuff to show :-/

I've programmed some serious crap on my calculator....ok I'm a nerd.

My little bro made one for the TI-89 called jumpjet. I don't know is he's released the newest version, but he did a really good job sith the game.

Haha, think about where you are posting. You are posting in a forum, for a game.... which hasn't even come out yet :). I think at one time or another, all of us have been classified as 'nerds'.

And yeah.. the school was locked. So hopefully when I go early tomorrow my calculator will be there, or all of my work will have been lost :(. I do have some on my computer though, i'll find them sometime.

Nice... think you could make a working CS game for me? :P
Ohh you cheater.. although it looks more like physics vector stuff to me than math. I like the match teacher one... but wouldn't he rather you be paying attention to the lesson than drawing him on your calculator?

lmao hahahah this stuff is freakin great ... hahah.. i keep laughing. reminds me of my hs days. my fav games were penguin(mario-ish style game), tetris, and... "pheonix" i think it was called... it was one of those old style "shoot the space ships that come towards you" type of games. hehe i also used to make drawings with the polar graphing function, heh those were the best way to pass the time in a boring class(kinda obvious though, that you're not doing work, when you're playing around on your calculator in a history class)

i swear you lot are SADD programming a calculator? rofl u have too much spare time, i swear SAD

I AGREE! 'mag is rite. but he spends five hours on CS a day anyway so he can talk.

I don't program outside of my math class, just something to do to pass the time in there.

lol... at least u dont have mr. crompton. me, dancemag and sulkdodds have him. he teaches maths. to put a long story short, he is completely and utterly mad.

your teacher's probably better than my 9th grade algebra2 teacher. we always used to wait for her to figure out how to do the problem on the board... and some people would be telling her how to do it. then there was that day when she went back and changed the problem so her answer would be right.

i never programmed stuff on my calculator. it would've been pretty hard to do it in that class anyways since we weren't even allowed to use calculators, heh.

Hey I program too. I made a little program that looks like the matrix opening sequence a bit. Its a really simple language and you can make programs that solve tough problems for you in an instant. Its more powerful than you think, mag.

it's a variation of the language BASIC.. which reminds me. I'll have to remember to post those 3d pics sometime soon.

LMAO! Great pictures dudes! :D

Now I know what to do next math class ;)
