I really want this, but I haven't got ?30 to throw away at the moment. :(

Played and completed for the Wii in two days. Seeing as the campaign itself is identical on all consoles, I imagine you'll find the single player a very quick experience. For whatever reason, the Wii version didn't have multiplayer so I can't comment on that. :(

The Enemy AI was great on Wii though, no idea if its better or worse or just the same on other consoles but there were times when the enemy definitely seemed to be thinking. Usually the effect was ruined a couple of seconds later by about 20 Germans running full pelt down a hill into my machine gun fire, but definitely some of the best I've seen on a standard shooter.
The campaign also has some good characters in, but once again you feel no sympathy when the over-the-top deaths affect other characters. One in particular I had an uncontrollable laughing fit at.

You certainly can't go wrong with the game, but I'd say I rental at best.

You had better starting looking instead of listening then.

It's a pretty average game. I played it to completion on the PS3 and it was alright. Occasional AI glitches (continuously running into walls, spazzing out, etc.) and just bad AI in general (Germans are attracted to machine gun fire like flies to shit). The campaign is medium length and medium quality. I really wouldn't go out and recommend it to anyone but you could do worse. It's just more of the same from CoD2 ... except not as good it seems.

On PS3 there's Resistance and on 360 there's Gears of War (heh, and CoD2) ... no real reason to buy this game.

CoD is one of the only games I haven't sold on from my 360 collection.

I enjoyed the multiplayer when I played it at a mates. Can't comment on the singleplayer / AI though.

The multiplayer is pretty entertaining in all CoD games. Can't beat Medal of Honor though, Omaha Beach was always GREAT!

I found it meh, its just more of the same with CoD 2, except the Cod 2 SP was better imo, the multiplayer is pretty decent tho

its not that good, i liked the others ones better to be honest

well my cousin owns it so maybe i'll just borrow his

Aren't you the one who always talks about how you hate the PS3? From this it stands to reason you probably haven't played Resistance, or at least not much of it.

It's the best FPS game since HL2. It's really good. If you've played it a significant amount and don't like it then fine, tell me why - but please no bullshit.

There's no real reason to buy Resistance either.

i have to agree with Samon - even though it was by far the best PS3 launch title, it is certainly NOT the best FPS since HL2

most importantly, the gameplay gets repetitive very quickly... even when playing CO OP, or MP deathmatch... some of the weapons like the auger and incendiary grenade are pretty cool but not mindblowing
the graphics are respectable, considering its being played on a PS3, however i found that the environments lacked the depth and detail that you find in the HL series
online play is fairly entertaining with its standard matchmaking and rank system... enough to keep you occupied until some real games are released i suppose
all in all, Resistance is a game that uses a take-no-chances FPS formula to create something that lacks innovation and depth

perhaps they were rushed into making the PS3 launch date, and therefore had to forsake features that could have made it a far better game
hopefully they will take their time and do it right with the sequel, rise of man

I have CoD 3 on the Wii although it NEEDs a keyboard and mouse, or I just need to get used to FPS with a Wiiimote! It's hard! Good fun though just a really steep learning curve with Wii controls.

Got it on the 360 and it's pretty good. Can't really compare it to the others since this is the only one I have ever played I agree with Reggie on the AI and the deaths (Sarge's death was just lol).

It's far from my favorite game, but I really do think it's the best FPS game since HL2 ... unless you count Episode 1, but that isn't a full game. I just can't think of any other recently released FPS that's better. The weapons are awesome, the graphics are nice, the story/atmosphere is very well put together, the game is fun, it has a good online and a great co-op. It's an extremely solid game. Saying something like "there's no reason to buy it" needs to be backed up.

the only reason to buy it would be to satisfy a desire for mediocre games
but like i said, it was the best that the PS3 had to offer at its launch
to each his own

It can't be all that bad... Its lowest critique is a 60.
