I can't believe how sweet the expansion for call of duty is. They have vastly improved the game from what I have seen in the demo. They now have bazookas instead of just panzerfausts, they have the movable machine guns, and now they have drivable vehicles. It is also very challenging even on easy mode. I've heard the knew multiplayer is excellent too and it only costs $30.

I played the expansion pack and its excellent. Great improvement over the original.

Some of the level design made me cringe. Especially that last American Mission.

I can't really say anything about that level because I haven't played it. I have based my opinion on the demo I've played and a few friends opinions. That sucks to hear though.

i still hav not beaton call of duty original...but i started again and im probably going to get the expansion pack some time later this year b/c im broke for now

I have mixed feelings about the expansion. The multiplayer was the big selling point for me on the first and while it's improved in some ways, the maps are just too damn big to be any fun with anything less than 20 or so people, and my modest local servers rarely see that kind of action :(

The scripts can be horrific, though...just shooting around for half an hour with stupid nazi's respawning all the time...then having to walk back because an NPC can't decide to walk to the place where you've been sitting for the past 30 minutes by yourself. But the rest of the game is fun.

Cod:UO is the best ww2 game ever! I love the gameplay its so imersive! and online mode is extremely fun. I love camping in apartment buildings and sniping incoming tanks with rockets when they drive by me!

agreed
UO is a huge improvement on an already great game
way better than MOHPA

CoD:UO kicks ass, that's no secret.

And I really like the last American level. Holding the house while Jerry kept trying to get in was awesome.

CoD and CoD:UO are the 2 best WW2 experinces.

I haven't tried the expansion yet, but the original on the hardest setting was the best war game I've ever played.

I loved that one hotel level where you have to defend the hotel from tanks and incoming enemies. I remember at one point I was backed into a corner with about 20 bodies piled up around me. Great fun.

That one annoyed me to the absolute extreme. I relyed on my AI counter parts far too much to cover my back while I took out the tanks - and as a result got humped by about 5 enemy soldiers each time all wielding those automatic rifles. Not one of my fondest memories of CoD.

I know, that's why I loved it. It was frantic with people coming at you from every direction.

UO was a nice additon to the alllready clogged WW2 games.

The American and Russian campaigns are best in my opinion I still don't like the british one. Mp is fabulous at Valhalla with two 64 player servers it's total insanity.

The demo is hard on hardest setting. I can't even beat it!

Holy crap, that level was where I just gave up on Veteran. So insanely hard... and UO is harder. There's a level not too far into the game where you're holding a house from infantry/tanks, it gave me trouble on regular :(

One thing I don't like is you can't rely on autosave so much any more :P

First British mission was awesome as hell. The goddamned Germans sent the entire Luftwaffe at you........or it seemed like it.
