Can A GeFORCE FX 5600 Play TES4: Oblivion?

yea it CAN play tes4:0blvion just not at a high standard

Of course, Bethesda has went all out to add much more Scabability options to TES when compared to Morrowind.
So yes it will, obviously not at highest but it will be able to be played smooth.

Well, maybe this could help - It can play battlefield 2 at low/medium settings.

Well asking us for a comparison is pretty useless because the game isn't out yet.

I hope it runs well on yours though. (because it'll run even better on mine. muwahaha!)

I'm really hoping it can play the game so I can get a PSP instead of buying a new graphics card for this game.

POPULUS WHORE?!?! NOT!
My brother has one, I play it every now and then, and I've seen spider-man 2 on it, and I'm planning on putting emulators on it + music of course.

Games: PSP has better games, the touch screen on the DS is just a gimmick, PSP got better graphics and the games it has kick ass, I can't wait till I get Coded-Arms.

Oh, and I don't really care about the graphics, just as long as I can play Oblivion at a smooth framerate.

No, those were two different posts, stating the graphics on two different machines - The PSP has better graphics than the DS, I can't do anything about the graphics in Oblivion, Which is played on the PC.

You see, I care about graphics in handhelds, seeing as how you can't have them graphicly upgraded, but with PC's you can... IN YO FACE FOO!!

Oooooohh... uhhh..... *Points behind ren* look over there! *runs*

Right, seeing as how we don't know the System Requirements Minimum OR Recommended, none of us are fit to answer it, but as I remember they tested it on a 9800 Pro and it ran really good I hear, so using that as a solid base marker, you can expect it to at least run :)

Graphics-wise, they are doing the best to optimize the engine. You will most likely not see another Morrowind

This is an RPG however, so be prepared to buy more RAM (but don't buy it until the official word of the requirements are out). I've always noticed that RPG's are more reliant on momeory than graphics

Heh, that's true, possibly because of the immense worlds and terrain and textures to load. Unlike say FEAR, where the landscape is well, well there's no landscape see? TES4 will definitely require at least 512-768Mb RAM at minimum.

:D Omg I can't wait.
