can anyone explain to me the structure of the folder for a custom mod that has been made using the create a mod button in the sdk folder. what folders i need to add and what files need to be created? i am just making a simple mod for fun that has hardly any custom content apart from maps and choreographed scenes. i just want to set it up with my custom vtf as the menu background and shows my maps when you select new game. cheers
 
You don't need to add or create any, you just use the create a mod button, and it makes it all for you. Then you can go open up the everything_sdk solution and compile and change whatever you desire. (if you only want to change the actual game code or make just the game you can open just game_sdk solution instead if you want)

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be code for the demo file writing/format in there, but there's a lot of stuff..
