Can anyone help?

Hi.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but i was wondering if anyone has the same problem as i have gained, and if there is a reason for it, and possibly a way to fix it.

Yesterday my friend finally got the retail version of HL2, and did the video stress test. The problem is where the spinning windows are at the start, instead of seeing the stainglass window etc.. All he got was spinning error messages. I thought it was just his comp being crap, but today i have just decided to try it myself and now i get the same too. I have had a retail copy of the game since release day, and have only experienced this problem since the last update.

Anyone else getting this problem now aswell? Im not sure if its a major issue, but obviously it isnt right.

I just ran the video stress test and got the same thing whereas it worked fine before the update

Oh well, screw it. Least the game still works, and thats all that matters. Thanks for you posts guys
