Can "Garry's Mod" damage single & Multi players in any way?

Sorry about the noobish question but I was wondering, when im messing about with the physics and spawning npc's and stuff, does it effect the single and multiplayer games in any way?

I only downloaded the mod this morning and after messing about it hit me.......I might be doing something that doesnt reset once ive finished,
and then damage the way the modes are played

so please put my mind to rest, thanks for the help in advance

If an object hits you hard enough, it will damage you. So yes, I believe it will affect other players and NPCs.

I think he means will it **** over his regular game of HL2. I've never used it so i wouldn't know.

I would reccomend you just start a new game and go to any chapter you want... Through the buttons. That way you won't have to try and see.

It won't, if you want to play the regular game modes then just start HL2 in the regular fashion. Garry's mod will only effect things if you specifically start the game using Garry's mod. It won't cause any permanent changes.

its the first time ive dl'ed a mod and ive only had a pc since xmas (my first ever)

No problem. I had the exact same worries when I downloaded my first mod for any game myself as well.

How could that be? The only map you play with is a grasfield with wall around it and a pool.

Not trying to be a dick, but how old are you? I'd imagine if this is your first pc you'd must be like 13 or so? Again, not trying to be a dick.

My parents bought a 100 Mhz, 16 MB, 1 GB HD computer back when I was 6, all of 10 years ago.
