Can I play the CS:S Beta?

I just got my new computer, and I want to see how CS:S runs on my machine.

If I go buy CS:CZ will I be able to download CS:S? Thanks dudes. , and dudets if there are any though I highly doubt it. :angel:

Yeah, that's how you can participate in CSS. But remember, css beta is only one (1) map.

But with the recent lawsuit events regarding HL2, I have a feeling the release is going to be way off. So I need something to hold me over until then.

They were made with the stolen version of Valve Hammer, which came with the Half Life 2 source codey thingy....Atleast that's what I've heard.

What DarkSonic said is correct. The fan made maps were made using the Hammer included with the stolen build of Half-Life 2.

I finished the loading of cs:S last night. I played this morning for a couple minutes before I ran off to work!! It made me late. I can't wait to get home and play some more. It runs like a dream too!!
