Can I play?

I have a AMD Sempron 1.66 ghz with 256 ddr ram. My graphics card is a ATI radeon 7000 (64mb). On lower settings, would I be able to play without lag? If not, what if I upgraded to 512 ram? Or would the graphics card just not cut it?

Yeah you'll just about manage it to be honest.

You could upgrade your RAM and graphics card and you'll see a slight performance but as your CPU is on the lower end of the scale, just scraping in at the minimum requirements, you might find there's not much point in doing that.

Either way, you will be able to run the game ok. It should be relatively lagless too as the game scales down really well on the older graphics cards and older versions of DirectX.

get some like a 9600xt 128mb it would be fine. i got a second system with pentium 1.6ghz , 9600tx 128mb 1.25gb rdram and i can play 1024x768 all settings high and 54fps on stress test.

1.2gz is minimum requirement. the 512mb ram should be ok as the games minimum requirement is 256mb . Go with a cheap graphic card upgrade like the 9600xt or 9800pro if u can afford one. i got mine on ebay very cheap

on microsoft game advisor the minimum specifications are

radeon 7200 series
pentium 3 1.2ghz
256mb ram

so maybe a graphic card upgrade is a good idea as you seam below spec on the graphics card
