Can I sell it?

Hi, I bought and played the game. I wanna sell it since I am not gonna really play any more (too much work). Do I have to unregister the CD-Key or something like that?

I'm pretty sure you can't sell it after you've bought it. But i think there actually might be a way of unregistering the CD-Key....i dunno, email someone from Valve. Try Taylor Sherman, i think thats his name, he's a mod at the Steam forums who knows all about this stuff. Mainly because i'm pretty sure he did some programming on Steam

Can't sell it. Accounts are also illegal to sell I believe.

To bad...Mods are always the best part.... Would be crappy to miss em.

Uhm.. yeah, you CAN sell it. You can 'un-tie' the cd-key from your account for a $10 fee (which is utter bullshit, you shouldn't have to pay to do this). But I don't know exactly how to do this, there's more information on the steampowered site.

No, trust me it's administrationfee. Though they might remove 300 IDs per hour, that'd be 300*10, $3000 right there. Guess you're right.

It's illegal to sell steam accounts, valve said so, its so dodgy.

If you did want to do this, only sell it to a reliable source, for example a friend/ relative. Never to some random person on ebay.
The $10 untie method is your only other option.

I'd advise keeping it for future mods, but if you really are too busy then go ahead.
