Hey all,

I need to put HL2 on a comp that doesnt have the net.

Was just doing a final check and wanted to know if anyone sees any problem in using my Nokia 6600 as a modem (via infrared) to connect to the net via a free ISP to activate Half-life 2, been planning to do this for a while and just wanted to check there were no flaws in the plan. I know it will prob take ages, but anyone know how long maybe?

Atleast in Finland, cellphones work via your cellprovider, and costs alot per minute.

The ISP might be free but what is your cell phone service provider going to charge you for downloading a large amount of data via their network? I would contact them first to find out.

I think he means that he just needs to ACTIVATE half life 2. If that is the case it shouldent take too long because you dont really need to download anything (except for patches if you wish).
