512 mb of ram
80 gig hard drive
ati 9600 pro

yeah man HL2 engine is really efficient and fast

you wont be able to play it on full settings, but you will be ab;e to play it, EVen i cant play it at full settings without like 20 fps...

I would have thought you would be able to. That aint a bad set up you got there.

it reaches the recommended specs, just keep AA and AF disabled.
i play everything else high, 1024x768 on my:
2.8e
1024 @ 3200
radeon 9800 pro
80gig sata

well, for about 2/3s of the game, i still had 512mb
and for the first 1/3 of the game i had a 9550 256mb
