Can Steam go on the Xbox 360?

Hey there.
Recently I have had alot of problems with my games on the pc, and have had enough. Someone has told me that I should play all them games on the Xbox as there will be no trouble with graphics etc.
Although I have not got an Xbox, can Steam run on it?

No, you can't. Your friend meant that the xbox versions of games don't have the problems of pc versions. But they don't have a lot of the benefits either, so tell him to stfu

You can get Half-Life 2 on the Xbox, but you don't need Steam for it, you just buy the disc for it. To my knowledge, no other Valve games are available for Xbox. HL2 is pretty poor on the Xbox due to its low specifications, so I wouldn't bother anyway.
If you really want to trade your PC for a console, go for an Xbox 360 as a better version of HL2, plus the expansion episodes, will be available later this year.

A bit offtopic, but I think I read in a interview earlier that's it's possible to implement Steam into Xbox Live(only for VALVe games), it all depends on Microsoft cooperation.

But it probably won't happen.

Oh dear. Can you not accept that some people use consoles instead of pcs to play games? This is the second thread I've seen today where somebody mentions a console you pop up and say something stupid and unnecessary.

And, yes, I can and do accept that people use consoles instead of PCs to play games. But I don't accept them telling me they are better.

The poster you replied to was asking a simple question, and nowhere in his post does he say that Xbox is better than PC. You obviously didn't even read the post.

I don't particularly think one is better than the other myself, but fanboys annoy me.

I completly got what was being said. However, reliablility does not make up for an inability to upgrade and second rate FPS controls. Just because he said it does not mean his friend is not wrong

people use consoles so they dont have to deal with upgrading and computer problems. with consoles all you do is put the game in and play. also the controllers are just a preference to people. sometimes i enjoy the controller for some games but that depends on what it is. so dont say anyone is wrong just because you dont like it. its an opinion just get over it.
