Can you buy Half-Life + VALVe mods via steam?

Well I really dont know, and many do other common members dont either, can you buy Half-Life through steam? It seems reasonable with condition zero being released in its full via steam. If nobody knows do they know when you will be able to?

I don't think you'll ever be able to buy Half-Life through Steam.

yes you can. I believe you get the platinum pack.
I re-installed steam once, (just regular steam, not with CS) and all games were greyed out, and when I right clicked on HL it asked if I wanted to purchase or if I already owned the game (enter cd key).
unless Im insane and Im remembering wrong.

will u be able to get blueshift for free off steam? i allready have OF free off it but i want the other expansion too ;(

No you won't be able to get blueshift for free, and they will probably only add it to steam when HL2 gets released.
