What will the system requirements be for Counter-Strike: Source?

Min:
1.2 GHz Processor
256MB RAM
DirectX 7 graphics card
Windows 2000/XP/ME/98
Mouse
Keyboard

Preferred:
2.4 GHz ProcessorB 512MB RAM
DirectX 9 graphics card
Windows 2000/XP
Mouse
Keyboard

This is the official word straight from the
steam CS:S beta forum

Here's a couple screenshots for you. The first 5 are low quality, and the last three are high quality. The very last one got screwed over on the upload, but you can get the general idea. I have no idea why it does that. Also, remember that these are compressed images.

ROFL. There is no way in hell you can play it with that graphics card. It is 5 years too old.

64MBs is bad... but 32... on a slow card... jeeze. Get a new graphics card pronto!

You'll need to do some upgrades mate - left it a little late haven't you? :|

My specs are almost like that, except I have 512 MB ram and an ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB.

Can you make sure your signature is no more than four lines of text please. Yours is waaaay too big mate.

512 Megs is soon beginning to be the bare minimum for most games. It really helps to have a gig of ram...Ah, thinking back...I remember the times where 128 Megs of RAM was the bomb...

I remember the times the 486 was the bomb. Why did we had to leave..

the funny thing is if it wasn't for us gamers, we would still be using 500mhz PC's. there would be no reason to upgrade if you were just browsing, word processing, and email. the only people that would have to upgrade then would be hardcore workstation people and servers. so god bless gamers and screw them at the same time ;-)
