Can you edit date modified and date created fields?

You know how when you download something or create a new file, and then modify it, the computer always registers when the file was created and when it was last modified?

Is there a way to change these fields to other dates? E.G. music.mp3 was created on 04/05/98 @ 2:03 PM. Can I change the date to 04/05/07 @ 2:03 PM? I'm on XP btw.

Not that I know of. But if you copy the file then the copy will have todays date/time.
