Can you solve the Rubik's Cube?

While someone replies to my thread in the Half Life 2 forum (see the I'm stuck please help! thread - if you know the answer please help lol) I will pass some time asking a question or two here. Can you solve the Rubik's Cube?

If yes, did you figure out how to solve it yourself, or did you memorize the mechanism used to solve it?

You mean instructions? My cousin learned how to do it from a friend who just told him which ways to turn it and when.

I dont know, someone just told me once that there is a technique involved and if you know it you can solve them quite easily.

Yes, I'll explain my method: Rip off the coloured tiles, then glue them back on in the right order. Success!


When I try for real I can only ever get 1 side, maybe 2..

I used to be able to, just found a book with the combinations. Don't think I could do it now though without looking at the book.
