ok every time i log on to my bf2 account in the game menu, the bf2 1.03 patch info menu screen appears asking if i want to open it or close. Now this in itself doesn't bother me, but I think it stops me from connecting via All seeing eye, i used to be able to click on a server in All seeing eye, and then it would open up the game and connect to it, now that screen appears every time and after i close it, nothing happens. Or is there something wrong with ASE.

You could do this: open ASE, go to "configure games" and click BF2. Now in the command line add +username yourname +playerPassword yourpassword, so the whole line looks like

"C:\Battlefield 2\BF2.EXE"+username yourname +playerPassword yourpassword

Of course you know what to write instead of "yourpassword" and "yourname".

The trick is it will say your password is incorrect, if you your last game of BF2 was using a different account. Basically, if the transparent, yellow bar, in the account selection screen isn't placed on the account you want to use when you start BF2 (and it is always placed on the account you used last time) you will get an error. You have to then log in to the account you will be using, quit the game and join using ASE again.

If you have only one account in the account selection screen then it's no problem anyway.

For all I know..as of now, there is no way to join via any 3rd party server programs.

What I said enables you to automatically login upon game launch. After selecting the server in ASE, the next thing you see (excluding intro's for those that haven't disabled them) is the game menu, with the message, but you can't do anything. The music goes quieter and then the map starts to load. Tadaaaa! the message does not stand in the way any more

Nice double post of different messages \=

Anyway I see what you mean now. I just use that favorites menu..since I only play on 2 different servers...yeah lol
