All kidding aside, I think it's great they have the guts to openly declare their love, and that the RCMP has the dedication to stand by their fellow Mounties.

Wow, I live in Canada and am just hearing about it now...
Doesn't matter, they'll probably have good lives, I've never heard of a gay couple getting a divorce.. Seriously, though.. I havn't..

this story doesnt get all that much press in canada (negative) ..mostly because canadians for the most part approve ..of course we have our religious crazies like everywhere else but hopefully we have them on a short leash <suspiciously eyes PM Steven Harper>

Well, there are exceptions to every rule.

And are you STILL working with her?
 
good for them, maybe some of the tolerance will permeate into america... but i doubt it

heh no, we only worked together for a year ...and all my other office romances failed ..so maybe you have something there ;)

$10 says this actually makes the gay-rights situation worse for a while.

Congratulations to them. though, I wish them a) all the best, and b) a distinct lack of social oppression.
