Cannot Connect to MSN ??

Hey Guys, i realise i probably been a pain here recently for all the questions but i need help again, i downloaded MSN 7.5 and entered Details and whatnot, however it keeps saying, "cannot connect, this service is temporarily unavailable", i tried redownloading and reinstalling, its been doing it for 2 days now and i dunno whats wrong :S it aint my firewalls either apparently as i checked them.

is your explorer online? i mean 'internet explorer' that comes with windows (feel sorry for people that still use that junk - hackers paradise!). if its in 'offline' mode then msn will refuse to connect.

either that, or there is a problem msn's end.

Nah it isn't in offline mode, been meaning to download Mozzilla anyway since reformat, hmmm .... maybe i'll just wait a while, i woulda thought that noone could get on but meh

I dumped the "official" MSN Messenger client after I read some suspicious EULA lines, like that I have to defend Microsoft and its employees in court if such conditions arise.

It still ain't working for me and no i don't want to try something new, everyone i know has and uses MSN, and i plan to keep using it, i just want a solution

There is a page where you can check the status of the .net messenger service although I'm not sure how often they update it..
