Try switching the speed in BIOS. What kind of card do you have?

p.s. Wrong forum

Also, download the latest Chipset drivers, this happened to my friend. I installed the Intel Chipset drivers on his Motherboard CD and then it fixed everything.

Hopefully you know what chipset you have.

Same thing was happening on my radeon 9800 pro, then I reinstalled my mobo's chipset after i reformatted my hard drive and everything worked properly, so I suggest to install your mobo's chipset again.

Yeah had the same problem for a while. Getting new mobo-drivers should solve it.

i have the same ****ing problem, how do i find out my motherboard or my chipset? damn dude i dont even know what the **** a chipset is! HELP A NOOB DAY!

Oh ofcourse.. i remember once could cange agp speed from bios but i couldn't fine it in the bios.. but that once time i had the chipset drivers installed from my mobo cd i think

okay i'll try, thanks guys

deam, i installed the VIA 4in1 drivers from my mobo cd but still the same thing.. and in what menu can u change it in BIOS?

The performance between 1x & 4x shouldn't be very huge really. I've heard of people gaining about 2 fps between 4x & 8x with their 9800pro cards.

Wraith: Either open up your computer & look for a logo on the motherboard (the board that practically everything is connected to) or look in your manual (if you even have one) or simply start up your computer. The brand should be on the screen before Windows loads up.

Then simply go to their homepage & pray they have a new patch. Then follow the instructions. Shouldn't be too difficult to do this.

not huge, just a difference of 20000 score in aquamark, i had the same probleme last week with my 6800 256mb, i was getting like 20000 something in aquamark, everybody told me it's fine and just my cpu bottlenecking my videocard, but i don't trust them, after installing the mobo driver, i jump from 0x to 4x, finally I got above 40000 in aquamark.

Wow I can understand your problem if your AGP Speed is set to 0X :E

BIOS menu -- Advanced Chipset Features... Try that... Also, what kind of System board do you have? If you can find that out you could flash the BIOS... Careful though if you mess up you board could be a paper weight... Just read the documentation on the website... It's not too hard

Good luck
