Can't change grafikk settings

hi when i try to change my grafikk settings to minimum,the game klikks and closes it self. I get massage fom windows that ther is something whit a .dll file. what can be the problem. i have the nyest driver for grafikk card and my cpu i nwe som i dont know what's wrong.

English I can read fine, "net speak" I cannot.

Anyways, after the translation, validate, like Jelly said. If that doesn't work, try to change the settings through an "autoexec.cfg" in your CFG file in your "cstrike" folder. Off the top of my head, I can't remember what the commands are but there are some Stickies in the Steam Forums, though. Other than that, try re-installing the whole game, as long as you have a fast connection.
