cant dl ANYTHING

For some reason, in Firefox, Msn, or IE, i cant download anything. If the file is too large, more than 50mb, it will freez shortly there after. Example: i want to download a movie, or game mod, or anything large. After 50 or so mb, it will just freez. The download will just stop, and not continue. The ETA in seconds will dissapear, and hitting the 'resume' option, if any, does nothing. Help?

Do you share your connection (like with a router)? If so can other people download things just fine?
If no one on your connection can download properly, call your ISP.

Yeah more background info:

No router, single comp, and for some reason, bittorrents work fine, all 23 hours of it.

BT is also probably going alot slower than your max download speed.
That might be a clue to something... what I dunno. lol

And I dunno of any firewall that would let someone download a few megs then kill it.

Ok, what are you using to download? IE? If so, try Firefox or a downloading program like GetRite or something.

Call your ISP and ask if they have changed their network format and if so to upgrade your modem.

Happened to me and that was the problem.

Other than that see if you can try another comp if you have one sitting around and see if it happens on that. Still might wanna give your ISP a call.
