Can't find folder?

Whenever I try to install the 1.3 BF2 patch it says it cannot find the instal folder? Is this because this patch is for BF2:SP and I do not have that or is the patch stupid and won't find the folder?

I tried putting the patch inside the BF2 folder and it did the same thing. So am I screwed...or is there a different patch I need instead?
