Cant get game to download

I bought online version through Steam. After telling me I need an hour to get the game ready to play, I get halfway there and get booted. The timer ticks down to 30 minutes then starts creeping back up to over an hour then boots me. I have a cable modem and can't understand why I would need over an hour to download the game in the first place.

Any mirrors out there to download from? Any help at all would be appreciated.

hehe actually it took all night for it to load up. i turned my speakers and monitor off and went to bed. woke up this am and viola'
