I just bought a Radeon X1300 and when I plug the monitor into the X1300 after I installed, it never powers the monitor on. It'll just go from the green light on the front to the yellow light. I can put my previous X300 back in and it works fine. WTF IS WRONG?!

Try putting your X1300 back in. Make sure it is in securely.
Does it have multiple display outputs on the back? (VGA, DVI) If it still does not show then try using the other port if you have an adapter.

Yeah I tried that, I think its a problem with my power supply. I don't think it's getting enough juice.

The X1300 doesn't use much power. How small is your power supply?

375W. The manual suggests 450 or greater. Looks like I'm sending back. D:

:X

Is it an X1300 pro? That is wierd that they would recommend that much.

Why not buy a new PSU anyway?

You'll only need to buy one for about 2 to 3 years anyway.

I really don't fee like it. Plus, the X300 is doing more than fine with BF2 so I'm happy.

Upgrading from an X300 to X1300 is a little pointless, though the X1300 isn't bad in the bad sector. It's possible it's a duff card you've got, you'd not necessarily get those symptoms when overloading a PSU, especially when not using any 3D acceleration. Send it back, PSU upgrade wouldn't hurt though.
