Can't jump in Our Benefactors

I have seen before that there is an issue with jumping in this area of the game. I recalled that you just need to reload the game, tried that without success. Any suggestions?

This is a recognised problem with Our Benefactors. Reloading alone won't necessarily fix it - you need to start again from the beginning of the chapter (it's not very long). You can try and get through with the noclip command, but this will cause you big problems when you need to jump later on as past threads here have shown.

It's caused by pressing the jump key when you are riding in the pod. So to fix it, don't jump when you're riding in the pod.

Yeah, just restart the chapter. That should fix it.

Thanks diluted, I don't think I ever did jump in the pod, but I restarted the chapter and stood still, now I can jump. Thanks to all for your responses.

Why hasn't this been fixed, anyway? I thought that was the whole point of Steam. You could go back and fix it and force everyone else to get it fixed too. :O

Maybe it's just a too-minor, easily player-side fixable bug... but still...
