Cant move diagnal

When im playing original CS, i cannot go forward, and sideways for some odd reason, i was able to, but one day, its gone, so i went on other fps games, and i could go forward and sideways at the same time, anyone know a solution?

Either you were pressing too many keys in the first instance or you need to re install CS.

There's also an outside chance that the keys you are using for forwards and sideways are loosing contact, try re mapping them to something else and try again. If that's the cause then buy a new keyboard.

try this:

cl_forwardspeed 999
cl_sidespeed 999
cl_backspeed 999

sometimes they are on different values and it feels like you can't move diagonal, i had this problem at a lan cafe and just yelled out 'what the hell is with the movement' and some guy down the other end yelled out the solution; i tried to find him to give him a high-five, it was a no-go.

- oh yeh, i have a problem that every time i start up cs/dod/hl2dm i need to go into console and bump sidespeed back up because it does not save for some reason, if you have this too just add the command into your autoexec.cfg

did you put your sidespeed in your launch options? you shouldn't have to mess with autoexec.cfg

Let me know if you don't know what I'm talking about and I would be glad to elaborate.
