Can't play anymore..

I don't know what happened, but now steam refuses to start. I get this error1.png first, followed by error2.png. Granted, I had the Fusion Pack installed, but I can't see that being a problem. Maybe I'm wrong? Does anyone else here use the Fusion Pack with steam?

Delete clientregistry.blob. Steam has once again been bummed up the ass.

Thanks for the quick reply. Seemingly it worked, although steam is now stuck at the login screen. I clicked login, been waiting 5 minutes now with still no change. I can click cancel, but thats about it. I'll keep waiting and see if it persists.

Ok I got it working and got into counterstrike VIA the CS icon I added to my desktop a while ago. Now, in steam, in my games list, NO games are shown. This stops me from playing all the other games except for CS. Is there a way to fix this?

Do a fresh install, I did this, and it worked. I know its a lot of work, I had to redownload a few mods, but owell. It works after you do this!

Actually, I do believe if you change your Steam skin (right click the system tray icon > Settings) and restart Steam, that problem (no games showing up) will be fixed.

did u follow the clientbob.dll step? because it seems to work generally.. better to do that before u actually do a whole re-installation.. i mean installation is a hella lot work :|

Yes I did, didn't do anything, I know how to solve Steam problems usually, so I was f-it, fresh install. Needed it anyways, lots of games had messed up sounds, etc..

whenever someone has this problem...just rename ClientRegistry.blob to ClientRegistry.bak


it'll work perfectly and all your games will pop up. someone should sticky this message.

There's no reason to name clientregistry.blob to *.bak, deleting it does the same thing.
