Whenever I try to run CS:S or HL2 a steam window appears saying that the latest directx version is needed to play HL2. I used to be able to play HL2 but since about two or three months ago this has been happening.
I've already tried downloading Directx 9.0c and the latest driver but they ain't working. Is there anyway to get past this?
