can't run 16-bit window program, Help! .exe

"can't run 16-bit window program"
cannot find file C:/... (or one of its components). check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libares are available.


I try and open a EXE file nd it says that...why? how can i fix it! please help i havnt got long till i get kicked off pc! thanks!

a game a friend sent me please help it wont let me open it..when i try to it says that error!

is it installed properly, if its in a zip, extract all files to a folder and run.
what OS are you using?

Windows XP home sp2

and its a EXE HELP! PLZ

run in the windows compatiblilty mode, cant remember how exactly, i use window 2000. right click it, properties and have a look around.

try changing ur color depth to 16bit in properties

oki i found out how to do it but thanks all for your help...what i did was rename the file to "setup" then put the combattabity to windows 98 then it worked
