A mate of mine got hl2, and it installs fine, but when he clicks the icon to play it it gives the preparing to play window. then nothing happens, the window disappears and thats it, any suggestions?
Hes tried that, hes rebooted, reinstalled steam and hl2 but to no avail, thx neway.
And b4 ne1 suggests it, hes updated all his drivers and has dx9c installed.
