it seems with every new release forums have to deal with more and more complaints,, thats all you get,, less and less stuff worth reading.

There are so many different PC systems to choose from, partly because the technology advances so quickly, and partly because the consumer (us) demands more choice and more power.

Ten years ago we were just getting rid of 486's and look where we are now. Graphics, Sound, Speed and AI (to mention a few) have all advanced out of sight.

The price we pay for the advance we demand are patches and problems. In my opinion playing HL2 is more than worth going through all the bad stuff.

If you want your games to work no probs every time, buy a console.

I don't know about you, but i'd be pretty pissed off if i'd bought the game and still wasn't able to play it because of game killing bugs or crashes. I think people with those problems have every right to bitch about it. It would be a sad world if they didn't.

its either that or a system/software tweak/update.

my point is, they know its gonna happen, it has with every game released for a while now.

So whats the point in wasting time complaining. If they spent less time posting complaints they'd fix the problem quicker.

No harm in posting to get advice or to campare notes (thats interesting). but no point in Bitchin.

Well, I also enjoy the company of many of the great apes, such as orangutans and gorillas. Never liked chimpanzees. They've been known to capture and eat human babies, you know.

I also like the smaller primates like tarsiers and aye-ayes.

And, I'm a sucker for a lemur.

Close enough. There aren't any wild monkeys in Europe, but you've got the idea. Old world monkeys are monkeys that live in Africa and Asia.

If you don't see any problem with it then go play the game and enjoy yourself. If you can't stand reading the words of people who are having problems with the game then don't visit gaming forums. If you don't like what's on television then change the channel. Don't piss and moan about how all of the programming needs to be changed.
