I went to put a friends harddrive into my computer to scan and remove trojans, but when I plugged his HDD in, I got this weird error after "Verifying DMI Pool Data". So I say "OK, nm I unplugged my prirmary, since I couldn't remember which was which. I unplug his, plug mine back in, and now I'm STILL getting this error.

Help me, helplife2.net! Included is a picture of the weird stupid error that means nothing to me...

OK, nevermind I guess. After unplugging my primary, and still getting the error, I decided to see what would happen with out my secondary, and it booted up. Plugged the secondary back in, and it's working now. I don't know WTF that was..but, hey. But, if anybody knows what that means, let me know.

Did you change the link to make the 2nd drive a Slave rather than a Master when you plugged his drive in? You can't have two Masters on the same IDE cable.

Well, the answer to the problem was a corrupt boot sector. My father informs me that is the issue. And I didn't change a thing really. Everything got plugged back in normally. Dadgum hard drives.

I often get a similar message when swapping drives in and out. For me, I have to reset which drive it wants to look to for the OS. Sometimes by adding a drive my bios will put it ahead of the boot drive for boot priority.
