can't take out the air ship!!! (HWY 17)

I've always considered myself a solid player...yet, I can't seem to rock the air ship. Bastard takes out all my rockets before they land on him. I can get two max to land but I'm out of rockets in no time. Who's got wisdom for me.

a solid player? i beg you pardon but those things are pretty easy to take out...you just have to wait until it stops shooting, then you shoot...

there's a van in the middle of the road that has a cache of rockets....you can keep getting rockets from this(3 at a time)....

you need to manuevre(sp?) your rockets around so that the air ship can't hit them...


I found out that it is extremely usefull to shoot them straight up in the air and then have them hammer down into the gunship...since it seems to have difficult time aiming upward(atleastwhile trying to shoot your ass into pieces)...also make sure you fire the next rocket as soon as the first one go boom, this will leave the gunship less time to recover and aim....both at the rockets and you...
