Hi all,
I am having real trouble trying to use the cheats...
I am doing this:
"Open Steam, go to your "Play Games" menu, and select Half-Life 2. Right click on it and select "Properties". Click the Launch Options button then type -console. Click "Ok", then close. Double click Half-Life 2 to start the game. Once it is loaded and you are playing, press the ~ key to bring up the console. Then, enter sv_cheats 1 and press [Enter]. You can now enter the following codes at the console window" as advised by this page...

but when I start a new game and get off the train, get in to the cage bit then meet the bloke who tells me not to blow his cover and climb out of a windw I do all this and then press the "~" key like it says but nothing.
I have tried coming out of the game and entering the codes but nothing...
What am I doing wrong? Remember I am very new to this... not a gamer at all but quickly getting use to it.
