can't view attachments

This is odd, even when I'm logged on and someone posts an attachment, if I click on it, it brings me to the login screen. I then login, and the screen goes blank, and then comes back up on the login screen. It continues like this into infinity and I give up.

This has really been quite annoying, because I haven't been able to view any attachments for a few months now.

Any suggestions?
