cant watch wmv videos or whatever files

when I click to watch a video and another tag(use firefox) opens up, the reproductor of a torrent stuff called ares that my brother installed comes up but video dont appear

there is a way to fix that?

I'm not sure I understand what is happening. I know you can't watch a WMV file. But I don't understand what you are saying about a firefox tab or torrent stuff.

Save one of the files you want to open to your desktop. Right click it and select "open with...". Find the program that should be playing these files. Tick the "Always use this prog" option. Click ok.

Restart firefox and your videos should work properly.
